Higher National Diploma (HND) Admission Requirement
(1) ND with a minimum of lower credit pass (CGPA of 2.50 and above) in the relevant field from recognized Polytechnics.
(2) A minimum of one year post-ND cognate work experience.
(3) Five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other subject from Agricultural Science, Applied Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Biology, Building Construction, Chemistry, Electronics, Further Mathematics, Geography, Metalwork, Physics and Technical Drawing.
Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes in Purchasing and Supply
(1) ND with a minimum of lower credit pass (CGPA of 2.50 and above) in Business Administration and Management from recognized Polytechnics.
(2) A minimum of one year post-ND cognate work experience.
(3) O’level credits to include Government or History and any two (2) of Economics, Geography, Civic Education, French, Arabic, Islamic Studies and Christian Religious Studies.
(4) Evidence of compulsory Industrial Training (IT) or attachment in a reputable Health Institution.
Degree (B.Sc/B.Eng) Programmes Admission Requirement
Candidates seeking admission into AFIT’s 100 level undergraduate degree and diploma programmes are required to write JAMB UTME examination and AFIT Post-UTME and obtain the minimum departmental cut off mark.
All o’level requirements must be obtained in not more than two sittings. Those intending to pursue Postgraduate and 200 level undergraduate degree programmes will be offered direct entry admission if they meet entry requirements.
