According to the recent updates from the official website of NECO, the closing date for the 2022 NECO Registration is yet unknown since the registration has not commenced.
NECO Registration Fees.
The 2022 National Examination Council (NECO) registration/examination fee is Nine Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty Naira only (N9,850.00 Naira).
This is the official and approved amount from NECO headquarter, moreover this might differ from School to Schools due to overhead and other related expenses.

- Download the 2020 NECO offline app from the NECO portal or Obtain an offline app DVD from NECO.
- Install the app on your Personal computer or desktop.
- Capture the candidate’s biodata and candidate’s subjects with CA1, CA2.
- Then upload the candidate picture and capture the fingerprint.
- Make a payment online.
- Confirm or validate the biodata of the candidates at the state NECO office.

How Many Subject Are You to Register for NECO
The number of subjects to write or register for the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (Internal) is nine (9) subjects and this is compulsory for all candidates of NECO.
However, NECO offer about seventy-six subjects which are grouped into 6 sections; Science and Mathematics, Compulsory Cross-Cutting Core Subjects, Technology, Business Studies, Trade/Entrepreneurship, and Humanities.
Note that only candidates in their final year of Senior Secondary School are eligible for registration the 2021 June/July SSCE is meant for only school-based candidates in Nigeria and overseas. It is not meant for private candidates.
