You will need to get a C6 and above in English to escape taking an English requirement test such as IELTS. However, some departments will require you to present the IELTS so it is of benefit to have it before applying.

If you are applying for an Engineering or science foundation program, you must have at least a B3 in 5 subjects or 300 in JAMB and C4 in five relevant subjects if you are Nigerian. However, note that the science foundation year does not progress into medicine.

To get into the undergraduate degree, you will need a recognized foundation year programme, high grades in the UK A level, and 28-38 points in the International Baccalaureate. Applicants with WAEC result seeking entry to the university must complete a foundation program, without this, they cannot gain admission to study an undergraduate degree.

But if you have your GCE A level, the International Baccalaureate, and SAT or AP, you can be eligible to apply for direct entry.
